I have a DM800HD clone and am trying to use my Avermedia USB dvb-t tuner. The box has a 160 GB hdd in it. <-- my next move is to remove this one.
I have tried many images over the last weekend and I never got a satifying result. Either the usb tuner works or the sat tuner works. never both correctly. I've also had an image where the sat tuner gave good signal but no image/sound.
I have flashed the box with 84b, but I don't know if this is ok.
It's now working more or less ok with the last dreamboxuk image, but I just read they don't develop that anymore.
Besides that, if I install the USB tuner driver i found on the net somewhere, DVB-t works but my internal tuner is gone. (empty msg)
The more I think about it, it may very well be a power problem.
Anyone any hints?
