    freezes during playback/rewinding/FF

Hi, I just wonder if anyone has experienced the same problem I have on my hd800? When I playback recorded video, during rewind or FF, - the dreambox can freeze for quite long time (several minutes) or even doesn't wake up so I have to reboot it from power. Have tried several images, connected hard drive internally, as USB or E-SATA (external SATA) and it didn't make any difference. Have used different formats (ext2, ext3, fat32) - no difference. I have Seagate 500gb drive.

Is there a cache that I can increase in size? Any other ideas?
    Thank you

Have used at least 20 different images, currently have flashed with Black Hole experimental 2011-01-15 - no difference.

If is sim 2.01 then flash the bootloader 84a then flash pli 2.1 beta.

Best image so far I have found for recording.

Sorry for the late reply. I have tested mount on my home PC hard drive (NTFS) and it records, plays back and rewinds fine. The problem is only if the record is to the Dreambox internal HDD.

Could you please give me links to 84a and pli 2.1 beta you already have tested? Cheers.

Download ssl then put box in stop mode, flash SSL like a image, once down turn off box and put back in stop mode.

            Now flash the pli img.

The image that Rodbouy has linked to is ssl84b so make sure you grab the 2nd loader in the first link, although as the image contains ssl84b and if you're up to ssl84a then I think that the image will install without any probs but am not sure.

As long as you have ssl84a installed the 84b will install from the image.

but you do need 84a loaded 1st.
