there is nothing marked on the card mate just a plain white sim in a dm800hd

Give us a clue where did you buy it from

Worse case scenario you flash the box with wrong image and semi brick it but i would do what Bulldog says get a lower bootloader sim 2 image first.
If you get No Ca Found you try another.
Think im still on bootloader 76 and its working fine.

bought it from the guy who does my tv and was working fine up untill i tried to flash a new image

Sunray is a clone dreambox 800hd badged up so it gets through customs thats all.
What you need now is lots of patience.
Download a fresh image,dont use the one thats bricked the box,start with Dreamup 1.3.3.4 and see how it goes.
Couple of enforcer programs that will sort it if you cant get a good flash.
Start reading the No Ca Found posts they will help you.

Try the Dreamelite Phoenix Edition from downloads mate its a good and very popular image.
See if it does the trick dont worry to much about bootloaders just yet.

will try that now bud, box is showing ip address on it so can i use web browser to flash? when its flashed 100% do i just unplug power from it and then restart?

You can set it to restart after flash but yeah unplug it when finished.....I'd recommend to flash with Internet Explorer tho.

done that just gotta restart but have noticed the box is not saying stop when the ip is up its saying serial mode??

It just needs a reflash m8 no need to panic

think it might be something else its getting on my t**s now as not sure if using corrent image and getting different errors each time
