dm 800 network

I'am having a network problem with my dm 800 hd.I can't go on-line in my dm 800.I've done a network test and everything it's ok execpt the ip address,it says it's unconfirmed but i can access the dreambox from browser or dcc.
Any ideea?

2 choices either have Dhcp enabled and just reboot the box and let it assign its own dynamic ip address or have a static ip address and make your own and have Dhcp disabled which i prefer cos you know its the same all the time.

I'ved tried to reboot the dreambox but i got the same issue.I don't want to disable dhcp because i have many devices connected to my router and don't want assign ip address to each new device.

What sort of security do you have enabled on your router?

On mine for example on the wireless side only a device whose MAC address I've entered can connect and get a DHCP address.

There is no security option activated on the router wifi.The router model is huawei hg520s if that help.The dreambox is connected by cable and worked.

Everytime you turn your Dreambox on and off it will give the box a new ip address.
When this happens you should get be able to go online.
If not i would do a reflash.

Thanks for the info.I've shut down the dreambox and unplugged it from the power source then turn it back on.When i'ved run the network test it gives the same error with ip address unconfirmed,everything else is ok.I'ved also rebooted the router.

Which image have you on the box?

The box it's a dm 800 hd pvr clone with bootloader 84b and open pli image downloaded from the download section of the forum.

turn off the dhcp in network scroll down to dhcp and scroll over to static give your box a fixed ip in your network worth a shot

If you're not willing to have a static ip address i would try another image like the Dreamelite Phoenix Edition,its in downloads.

Ok I'll try to give a static ip to the box and if it doesn't work i'll change the image to another one.
Btw what image do you recommend?

I'ved installed the image you recommended and still no internet connection.When i run the network test it telling me that my internet connection doesn't work.
