    Faulty Tuner or Cable Problem???

    Hi!

I have a dm800 clone with a REV M tuner, connected to 4 satellites through a 4 way diseqc switch. A few days ago 3 of the satellites lost all SNR and AGC except one. I replaced the diseqc switch but the problem still persisted. If I move the cable connected to the tuner I get one satellite back out of the four., but its intermittent because if I move to another satellite I loose all satellites again. When its working both DVB S and S2 channels work perfectly. Is my tuner going kaput??? If anyone could share some light on the problem, I would be humbly grateful. Thank you.

If wiggling the cable gets the sats back then doesn't it sound like a cabling problem/issue?

I'd redo all the connections again, what type of connectors do you have, if they are the screw on type then check that they are firmly screwed in, that there isn't a stray earth strand floating around and that there is around 2-3mm of the central core sticking out beyond the connector.
