hi there, run DCC and select FTP. go to the hdd at /media/hdd and create a folder and name it MOVIE. change attribute of this MOVIE folder to 777. exit DCC. try the instant recording again. hope this helps.
1: On your laptop/pc Format you usb storage and name it USB STICK
2: plug your USB STICK at the back of your DM800
3: switch on your DM800
4: go to the following menu>setup>system>recording paths>
press OK>menu>switch to filelist>
press OK on <parent directory>
scroll down and play around until you see /media/USB STICK under the "default movie location "
press green button on your control which means OK
press exit
repeat the same as above for Timer record location, Instant record location and Timeshift location.
When all 4 recording paths are completed press save (green button)
