    DM800HD In line amp

Just before I travel to mates house to put this in, just want to make sure I will be doing it right. As you can see its an in line amp and came with patch cable.

The patch cable is screwed into power in, so other end of patch cable goes into dm800hd and the coax from sky dish goes into ant socket...?

And ESPN HD, discovery hd and all the glitchy channels should just work like magic..

I notice there seems to be two holes on the amp, are they mounting holes.

If this thing moves about is it going to affect picture, it is a signal booster and would presume these things need to be completely stationary..

Not trying to piss you off mate but that's the wrong amp . The best one is "sloping" . That one is rated 20db .the best ones are 13db - 18db (or something similar)
And in my experience they even don't cure it 100% . Best to upgrade the tuner to latest Rev M

            Yeah this.

Rev M tuner is the dogs, will cure all problems with glitching. If you already have the Rev M and its still glitching the problem is elsewhere..

i agree with southpaw, the slopping amp is the better amp.
              its probably the same price.
i used it on a rev L tuner in a 800dm, and it did boost espn hd etc, still showed 60-70% + snr but it stopped the glitching.

as for the mounting holes, mine isnt mounted, as long as all the connections are tight you should be ok.
