sim2.10 to ferrari

Hi there,
I have adm800SE and wanted to upgrade to Ferrai sim.
When I swap the ferrari sim to box &turn it on says"NO CA FOUND)
How can I solve this problem?

try clean the simcard with a ereaser they are very sensitive around the sim card ihaave had that problem after cleaning the problem disapeard

I thought there were hardware diffs between a SIM2.x and Ferrari sim boxes so that the cards couldn't just be swapped? Or am I talking rollocks

Far as i know you can swap sims no problems but you Then must make sure the image your using is compatible.
Hence the No Ca Found.

i too swopped my sim 201 to a ferrari sim in a 800dm.
was told to flash a ferrari image with old 201 sim still in, boot down then swop card and re boot. i got the image from the ferarri forum.

as for the no ca found, i was getting that a few times,( on the sim 201 card) and what i found out, its the sim card isnt sat correctly in the sim holder, it might look ok, but it wasnt always true.
i ended up using a match stick cut to length and jammed in between the card and the metal bracket above, where the front of the 800 clips over, and it press's down on the sim card, thus making a good contact between the card and the contacts, i have never had a no ca found since.

Hi, why would you wanna use a ferrari sim, i thought there was more support for the sim 2.01 ?

Could be that his SIM2 is foo-barred and he's managed to pick up the Ferrari sim cheap? That's the only reason I can think of.
