problems with dm800. satellite image keeps flashing on screen and ts panel wont updat

Hi, im having trouble with my dm800 satellite receiver, when i switch on my receiver no channels appears, i just get satellite image continuously flashing on the tv screen.

i have to go into setting and mess around with my motor setting.

i think i have messed my usal settings. help please.

also how do i set my default satellite to 28.2e as thats pretty much the only satellite i watch on .

    ---------------
another problem im having is updating the ts-panel. when i select tunisiasat dreambox addons i get the following message "addons download failure, no internet connection or server down!" why is this, the receivers connected to internet perfectly fine.

    any help would be appreciated.

    thanks -

    Hi

Cant help you with your main problem as I dont have experience of motorised systems.

The tspanel seems to have been down a few days now so you cant update at minute.

    Regards

you need to go to your channel settings>go to ie bbc1, then press menu you should be able to then set that
channel as startup channel, so it will always go to that channel on booting. If you don't see set as startup chnnel, go to TsPannel and download from one of the working servers.

the flashing satellite on the screen means that your dish is not pointing to a sat and is trying to find a signal. you will need to re align the dish or tinker with your usals settings or both
