Keep the button held in for a few more seconds, untill it displays the ip address, then let go. Enter the ip into your browser you should then get the firmware upgrade page.
It was displaying the IP, but still didn't work. Not an issue now, but I might have a go again (at risk of breaking again). Want to go through th ebakup options on the box first just in case.

Try different browsers, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

But if you are a bit unsure on flashing the box, then don't, untill you need to.

If your box is working, then leave it that way!

      Have fun.

Bugger. Rebooted the box, and it is getting stuck on bootup now. Gets about halfway through the progress bar and just sits there on the please wait screen. Browser can't connect to the IP (tried Explorer and Safari - status 12029). Can FTP to the box though with Filezilla and Dream Logo Generator.

Have used a USB lead and dreamup/Sunray and connected, powered on when it said, and flashed a new image. It sent the image, and then Sunray said the box was continuing from memory. I left my laptop connected overnight, and when I came down it was still in the same state. I switched off and on again, and it still boots to halfway through the progress line.

Having a total mare with this now!

mate just do this...download this image ..... Digital Kaos - Downloads - BACKUP DM800se SIM210 SSL84b - Patched by riyaad

connect up sunray to your box.....once you get an ip address displaying on the oled.....

type the ip address into your web browser....and flash the image from there.

once image has flashed....disconnect everything and power off the box at the back and then turn it on.

once booted up.....change the sats in menu - system - service searching - tuner - to single and then 28.2e astra only.

then its upto you if you want to do a manual scan or upload a channels list.

once all that is done....if you have a Cline....then you will have to download a cam by pressing blue button - univ cam manager and then download a cam of your choice and stick your cline into the relevant place.

            reboot and all done...

Still getting the same thing essentially. First of all, wasn't sure which SIM2 SSL-BT to choose, and the one I chose gave me the "No CA found error". I then tried again with a different one and it fixed the CA error, but still on boot up it stops halfway on the progress bar, and I can't connect from a web browser.

Apparently, it has to be an SSL84A not B. Sent the box off to my supplier, but he says he is struggling to find a stable A image.
