manual install (ftp extracted file to /tmp folder ) the attached version of crossepg....i have had this on my clone dm800hd for over a year running openpli....and always works

i'm still using that image on my box mate ...and epg still works fine.

i use open tv and do a manual download once a week or so.

i do find that the epg has problems at the weekend.

i do a blue button - crossepg downloader ---let it download....sometimes populates immediately...other times just restart the gui and it poppulates.

also....check that it goes to a dvb or radio channel during the download....

Thanks for this mate. Sods law is since I posted my EPG hasnt disappeared/need refreshed yet but at least now I've got a good set of instructions to follow. In the meantime I have removed all of my providers other than OpenTV one so I'll give that a try (infact I did but since the program listing were already populated not really sure yet!). Cheers

cheers for the help guys i will save this thread in my favs in case i need that version of cross epg again, the box i was having problems with the epg, i have sold now but told him i would sort the epg out for him so cant try this until i get the box bk
