    mgcamd and openpli

    wondering can anybody help me.
    installed openpli 2.1 on my dm800hdse. then installed mgcamd then put in a mg_cfg file in the /usr/keys folder, (one that a "friend" had given me if the original didnt work)
    then installed ActiveCode plugin and punched in my code and it activated
    however no channels are clearing.

    had all this working up to yesterday on Newnigma2, just cant figure out where im going wrong with OpenPli
    ive tried different versions of mgcamd from tspanel, different versions of the mg_cfg file. reinstalled image, just cant get it going.

    Please help save my last few hairs

    Do you have a file called newcamd.list in /usr/keys, if you have edit it and check its content.

        1 First Make sure you have installed Mgcamd 1.35a ,1.35 or 1.31
        2 Using Dcc ftp to your box
        3 browse to "/usr/keys" folder DM800HD,DM500HD & VU+Duo and Solo or /var/keys DM500s

        open " newcamd.list" file and add the below CWS=line save and exit file: example below
        CWS = hostname-url port-number user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan newcs
        5 Right click on " newcamd.list" file after replacing and set attributes to 755
        6 Select Mgcamd EMU with blue button and restart
        dm500hd -dm500hd v2-vu+duo- triax 1.1m - inverto lnb - technomate 2300 motor- linksys ddwrt router

          hi gji25. i dont have hostname url port-number user pass. .all i have is an ActiveCode number. i open the Activecode plugin and punch in a number and everything works.
          when i installed it in newnigma2 i didnt have to do anything to the newcamd.list, just install mgcamd, then config file then , avatarcam plugin.
          just not sure how they tie in so i can do it on openpli.
