dm800se motor problems

Can any one help me. I have a DM800se clone 2.10 using dream elite 2.1 I have set up long lat every thing is fine i have the same settings in my tm9100 super it works fine but with this box when i wont to move from 28.2e to 13.2e its fine but when i wont to move it back again the dish wont move any ideas is there some thing wrong with box or image? i have try 4 other images still get the same problem. Plus when i go in to the positioner setup and move west its fine but when i try to move east it dont move.

Hi mate.
Some people set up tuner config in simple mode, but I think then you have to mess around then for ages, getting a lock on all the sats you intend to use. I use advanced mode, and input the settings as this guide by westkill (HERE). I use this on my own 3 boxes and for others. It takes a few minutes, but make sure you input your own long/lat. You also need to activate each sat you intend to use, just scroll to correct sat>1 LNB the rest will auto fill.

I have the same settings in my box and i'm using dream elite 2.0 do you think its image problem? And also is there a black hole image for dm800 se.

I only use PLI images on my boxes mate, I have tried dream elite images, but not for me!
So I can't really help you there. But I suppose it is worth reflashing with a different version if you are happy with dream elite.
Have you checked all your cable and connections?

Yes all cables and config are fine. Also the image you are using does the oled work with this image and when you use dream elite did you have motor problems as well?

Never really had any motor issues with any image. Not sure what you mean regards oled, if you mean does it display picons, then no. I have tried to get them working, but it doesn't matter that much to me so gave up, it display's the channel info and time.

yes that what i mean my problem is the motor. Is there any other way i can sort this out?

I had the same problem and I had to step the motor east and west a few times then it would go back to 28.2 it did that for months then suddenly sorted itself out

Mike thought you said the motor works fine with technomate. Give the fat man's idea a go, might help.

But if you know it's a motor issue, then just bite the bullet and buy one from the bay. I think they are about ?40ish.

Its a new motor 6 mouths old. The problem is with this box.

Had a similar problem on a mates box so i installed Dreamelite image and changed the tone ampitude as in picture included.
My box worked fine so tried this.
Think you can change this from 600 up to 1200 mv which im guessing gives the motor a bit more power.

Another thing ive read is if the psu isnt giving the box enough power it wont work so worth trying one of those.

In the sat setup can any one tell me is it safe to put it up to 100mA the defult is 015mA.
