Are subbed cards safe to use in 800se?

Is It safe to use subbed card in 800se card slots,
It's not going to over heat and burn out is it?

Or should I use a samrgo USB reader?

definately no probs with it in the cardslot mate.....hardly gets warm....never mind overheating

i remember reading awhile back about the dm800's over heating & needing a voltage fix via a resister or something to that end, so i thought i'd just make sure before i take the plunge :P
