dreambox DM800 HD PVR not booting

just got a new dreambox HD800 PVR (Enigma2)and tried to update from the update software menu using the remote control. although upgrade finished successfully, a green display showed an error and device restarted. now it wont boot up again. display on device shows Sim201 #84A Sunray Sunshine SIM2 Free Images Download (Free for SIM2.01/SIM2.10) ***stop***

M8 i think the update software is for the original images you will need to reflash

hi i have a similar problem.i was trying to put films from my usb stick on to the hard drive and i was messing around with the remote.it downloaded barry allen by mistake.the box went off and now its saying booting an a red light flashing on the display.and on the telivision it just shows the enigma2 start up screen.it does not do anymore.can someone help please i would be greatfull.i got this box from the supplier with the image already on it.its 5 days old.am i after bricking it?hope not.....

hi m8 dont panic its not bricked it looks like its stuck in boot mode switch off and leave a few mins then on again.

thay are all enigma2 you can get one in downloads

i have tried earlyer with a null cable.it does not reconise the box i have the cable with usb.i kept pressing connect and power up the box.its a disaster boy.im at this since half 8 thismorning and its melting my head

i have connected to dreambox .it just says upload complete wait for acknowledge.whatever that means.any ideas.
