DM800hd wont let me connect,says wrong password think the previous owner changed it...i have tried dreambox edit,flashfxp,smartftp etc ,,,still cant connect arghhh any ideas how to reset etc i dont have a null modem cable cheers micky

flash a new image via the web browser mate. will reset the password. don't need any cables. (unplug the power....then hold the power button down while simultaneously plugging in the power cable.....till it shows STOP on the oled at the front of the box and displays trhe ip address. type in the ip address in ytour web browser and flash the image )
but make sure its a clone safe image(if the box is a clone) otherwise you will need a null modem cable

u have to unplug box then hold front button and power box on with your finger on button still untill u see the word stop and release , thats your new ip on the front of the box , input that in your web browser and upgradeany information provided is for educational/experimental purposes only.Comment
