Increase Root partition DM800

I noticed my dm800 root is nearly full, while the Var partition is almost unused (70MB), Wonder if if i can move some space from Var to root to increase root szie!!

I was under the impression that / was a single big partition? Didn't realise or notice /var as a mount point when I had a dm800se.
