Lost satellite config after xml update

Hi

I have a DM 800 that is a few years old but recently I lost the BBC HD channels so after a bit of reading it looked like a satellite xml file update was needed, I downloaded the satellites I needed and sent them across via FTP in DCC (var/etc). When I rebooted the box the only configured satellite was 28.2 all the other satellite channels are greyed out, I have tried to configure the sats but they appear to be lost, all I am getting in the tuner configuration is:

All Sats 1
All Sats 2
All Sats 3
All Sats 4
28.2

Could anyone please help.

not to sure but hazard a guess greyed out because they are not on 28.2,when dish is moved to other sat then will become visible and 28.2 greyed out,dont know if you have to add them back in.sure others will guide you better.

Its more than likely that depending on how old your channel list is that the new .xml file has updated transponders as well and your list does not.

Just a suggestion would it not be easier just to add on of the many preconfigured channel lists available. At least then you will know its up to date and working

I will try a list like Sgt flipflops to see if that works, my problem now is that the box will not allow me to scan anything except 28.2 because all the other satellites in the satellite config have disappeared.
