    no rs232 connection

    my 800hd clone has a noi ca foult i have used forum and have tried dreamup with enforcer and optiflash but when i am asked to power up box connection times out. My rs232 is not connecting I have used 2 different null modem cables 2 different computers also alaptop and usb/232 cable is there another way or willi have to buy new box? null modem 232 worked when i first got box so it looks asw though it is somthing i have done

      if i purchased a new simcard would this solve my problem shown above

              thankyou for your suggestion but i have tried all methods i can find on this site to make my box recognise my rs232 nullmodem cable. 2different cables 2 different computers laptop with usb/rs232 pmcia slot with rs232 output The conclusion is that mybox has a broken rs232 port and i do not know how to fix it , indeed if it can befixed
