Biss Keys dm800se how????

hey peeps,
i've been looking all over and just cant seem to get my head around this,
but how do i input biss keys on my dm800se?

can anyone guide me please?

i've tried putting serojas softcam in keys folder but doesnt clear channels on 10e

by the way i've got dm800se with openpli image,
im already using ccc*m!

and use the dcc to load them by double clicking
the usr folder on the left pane then double click
the keys folder and then send them over using
the arrows between the file panes.

which files from minicats 'config' folder and 'keys' folder,
did you send to use/keys on the dm800se?

i use the mincats key bundle for the chns i want open
and send the four files from the keys folder into my box
from the cccam folder in the file
i just double click the usr folder to open it then i do the same
on the keys folder thats on the list and send the four files to the

it seems to have done the trick thanks

its clearing nba tv and pltv on 10e,
but the problem is that the snr keeps jumping from 0db to 8.9db,
so the picture keeps breaking up,
maybe its just the reception im getting, but i got a 90cm motorised setup, so i dunno, any ideas?

i also flicked over on to sportdigital on 19.2e to make sure the softcam is working correctly, and it cleared fine no problems...

There are key bundles available from other sources and also the Softcam files can be interchanged as some will open up more than others its trial and error really.

if your signal is jumping up and down like that then there is a problem in your location and size of dish you should be really hitting around 14db on PLTV and above.

i think your right about being trial and error for example

i installed mgcamd 1.38,
tried a couple of different softcams but none worked,
so i played around with the cccam softcams
serjogas softcam only seems to open sportdigital 19.2e,
but it doesnt clear any biss keys

i used minicatbundles last night,
its clearing nba tv and pltv on 10e,
but the problem is that the snr keeps jumping from 0db to 8.9db,

i tried today nothing clearing and if anything the reception gone lower
i also flicked over on to sportdigital on 19.2e to make sure the softcam is working correctly, and it cleared fine no problems...

finally tried 'Dreambox key by @macro',
this seems to open most the channels like zee channels on 13e which the other dont,
sportdigital 19.2e clears, but again doesnt clear any biss keys,
bit of a funny one this

mate i've noticed that the snr seems to be lower on my dm800se compared to when i used to use my dm500s,
i mean i think usals is brilliant and easy to setup,
but defo feel i was more in control with diseqc,
maybe its jus me bud

p.s the dish allignment seems fine because everything else seems exactly the same

Why not use Diseqc 1.2 for 10? east and USALS for the rest, thats what i like about Linux receivers you can chop and change in the config menus.

Just change the Tuner config from Simple - Positioner to Advanced and then every other satellite at the bottom of the advanced setup allows you an option that says Use USALS for this Sat say yes and thats it.

So 10? east could be nudged for best performance on Diseqc 1.2 and all your others can use USALS through Advanced.

hey mate, just a quick update,
i didnt have much time so i thought i'd give the settings you mentioned a quick go,
i couldnt figure it out so i thought i'd go back to normal simple positioner mode,
i've gone back on to the channels and im getting 9.0db for nba tv/chelsea tv/pl tv, and they are all clearing with minicats bundle, chuffed with that,
but a bit baffled how it suddenly started giving me better reception, but i aint complaining!
