Im currently looking to upgrade my dm 500 clone.I see you can get DM 8000 Clones now and was wondering If anyone has one and what they are like?

Wouldn't bother. For the same price you can pick up a VU Plus Duo mate, does everything the 8000 can do for cheaper! -
i don't think the duo is really comparable to the dm8000.
it's a superb box by all account.... if you need more than 2 tuners

I've had my clone for over a year now and touch wood it's been running fine, used fairly hard with kids etc and over long periods of time and it's been really good. I allways switch it off at night and un plug it ( just a tip there )Comment
