DM800HD - Green screen

Hello,

I've had a green screen show up on my DM800HD and none of my FTA channels are working any more, the green screen only came up once. I don't understand why my FTA channels aren't working, my dish and wires are connected etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

If someone who has encountered this problem before or know why it happens / any way to resolve the issue - I would appreciate a reply.

I have also had some messages stating that the tuner configuration failed (something similar not exactly that) and SID failed PAT failed.

I had green screen that said "enigma 2 crashed", tuner config failed and also tuner would not connect with satellite. Eventually i reflashed from allrussian (as supplied) to Dream Elite and all issues were resolved.

My box is now saying "Error" on the display, not doing anything. What does this mean?

Error alone means the sim is not seated correctly or there is a problem with the card, error no ca found means the wrong image for that sim has been flashed.

Would you know which image is best to install?

I'm on sim 2.0.1, dreamElite 1.33d v3. BSBE2-401A - 030112G

Just thought I'd post this;

My box is working again but if I zap to HD channels, it goes down (both HD and SD). Would you think it's a software problem or tuner?

I would appreciate a reply from someone.

You need to be a bit more specific than "my box goes down " mate, does it display an error message, reboot etc

It says the tuner configuration isn't set, and when I go into settings, tuner shows "nothing", something wrong with the tuner or software (I had a green screen show up once too so I suspect it maybe the software but not entirely sure).

ok you need to tell us what image your using and what sim you hav in the box when u start the box look at the led screen on it will say sim 210 or whatever there are loads of backup images out ther that pretty much take care of all issues tell us what you running

re flash it might be a bad flash i would recommend the latest blackhole image or pli seem to be more user friendly ,, lot of lads swear by the vix image link sent to backup images

When the box green screens it normally creates a crash log, post the contents of the log and we might be able to determine what caused the crash.
