dm800 how to set auto reboot

Hi guys i would like to be able to set my dm800 to reboot once a night and havent found a way to do it i have read that you can use cron manager but dont no how to use it any ideas

You will have to write a script or download a pre-made one for cron and then adjust the time to suit your needs

How to reset password on dreambox 500

connect dreambox with serial cable.

boot dream box and press ctrl + X while booting.

it will boot in single user mode and then it will give you prompt.

copy paste this to prompt

"console=null root=/dev/mtdblock5 rootfstype=squashfs ro console=ttyS0,115200 "

and press enter or ctrl + C

and press enter

now you got root privilidge.

type password change command and it will change new root password.
