I know Dream originally used the DVI port because they had licencing issues using HDMI.
But why are the clone makers still using the DVI port? It doesn't make sense to me.
1) DVI + HDMI use the same signal (so no reason not to switch to HDMI).
2) The DVI to HDMI cable has to be more expensive.
3) The clone makers can do what they like.
4) HDMI port would make the box more popular.
