Unable to flash DM 800 HD PVR

Dear Friends,
I have tried flashing my dm800 today.
It is giving an error 10057 saying SOCKET IS NOT CONNECTED.
It gives the same error on DCC and on optiflasher.
Dreamup doesnot even work.
I have tried holding the power button and then plugging the Power adapter in it just says DHCP and stop, doesnot gives an IP address.
I am really stuck. Need help please.

Hi,see if you can you get the ip address from the router,once you have the ip address open a web browser and type the ip address from the dreambox into the address bar and press enter.then you can download a flash your dm800 from the dm800 section.

Thankyou for the gauidance.
I tried that already but what I have found is that the router is not even recognising the dreambox at all and there is no ip address for the DM.
The DM 800 just shows ***STOP*** & DHCP sign.
Last time when I flashed it it did tell me the IP address and I did what you have mentioned.
