Dreambox dm800se clone newbie help.

Hi guys i have decied to upgrade from openbox to the dreambox dm800se clone. i have no experiance with these boxes and a little help would be great. first it is a (dm800se BL82 sim2.10).

which image is the most stable? and will i need to upgrade the bootloader? also how do i go about loading my cline into it? and finnaly what is the best epg to use?

hi you can update the bootloader hear dreameon go to forums your find it in ssl84a.as to an image ive just tried diffrent ones its just a case of what you like really.to flash hold the button at the front of box till you see stop and the ip address,open ie type in ip to flash.
bootloader hear is the bootloader New secondstage dm800se sim2-ssl84a epg i use open tv but rytec is ok to but i prefer open tv.if you get an image with out crossepg you can download it and ftp it to your box if your using a usb go to media then usb and put it in there.then on dreambox go to file explorer its in tspanel then when you find it press ok then reboot now you should have crossepg .cline (softcam) most images have tspanel go in there download it easy.go to notepad on pc make a notepad call it CCcam.cfg ftp it inside ect file bobs your uncle.your also find crossepg on the same site for download.or actually click on downloads top of the page on here your find it there also.to ftp files you need to download dreambox control centre.

cline is not something we talk about on here but - once the box is connected with DCC go to etc/cccam.cfg...just search forum for cccam if you are stuck
