they are very cheap on the bay mate and satfools
have them for about a tenner i would be a bit dubious
about using one that says 19v the psu unit for a dreambox is 12v
i did use one for a long time that came with a old
thomson speed touch router and it had the same
fitting that dreambox uses. but the router was rated at 12v

        yes m8

you can use the 12v dc from any pc psu to do this , and you will find them on auction sites to sort this out too

12v power packs are fine , ensure its 12v centre pin is positive and rated at at least 3.0 amp, or maybe get up to 4.0 amp

do not use anything over 12v like those laptop psu`s you asked about

also bear in mind the dc plugs can be different sizes too

probably best to get the ones used to power 12 volt monitors looking at what is available there

the psu for the dm800 from where i buy
has this with there Power Supply listing
                Power Supply for DM800/500HD (12V/3A). ?10.99
but the one in your link says it's for the dm800
                and it should work ok.

if your anywhere near cheshire i will give you one
from my router that will work on a dreambox

alternatively, I would buy the 12v 4A ones for monitors

2.5mm inside dia , 5.5mm outside dia , centre pin positive

if it's a clone box you need the forhike and natas
patched dreamup panel and use the last known ip
for your box. and upload and clear the problem then
load a new image with this loader panel and a null modem cable
