    help required please

    Hi there i han not been on here for a while .I used to use a dm500 for vm until its unhappy ending now i am a vm sub scriber but would like to look into usin a dm800 or equivelent to try and hook up to sat tv instead i understand about having to use a motorised dish its just how different the software is from my original box and the set up .

    A guide in to how to start would be great and any suggestions on the right box to use would be welcome i would like to be able to record to the box and hd would be great if poss also if its not asking to much have more than 1 box in my house watching different sat channels any help would ber amazing and i thanl you all in advance

    a vu+solo clone is a great box for just over 100 quid or the dm800hdse for about 140... if you have a southish facing wall get yourself a triax td88 dish,tm2600 motor and a inverto black ultra lnb for about 100 quid again and fit it yourself, there are plenty of guides on how to flash your box,install the dish ect and seeing as you had a 500c from the cable days you shouldnt have to many problems with the stb side of things. you could of course just ring a local installer and get them to do it all for about ?400,regards mdt

      Thanks for your help didn't realize the boxes were so cheap any ideas on what channels I will recieve will I get the 3pm prem games with the sat setup ?
