My dreambox 500s blew up the other day in a power surge so I've been trying to setup a new receiver however I'm having some problems.
I've tried now with an Openbox S11 and Dreambox DM800 HD (possible clone) but keep having the same problems.
I don't use USALS, instead position the dish manually. I've managed to do this for 13 and 19.2, however when trying scan for 23.5 or 28.2 etc when setting the reference transponder to search for a signal the box reboots itself.
On the dreambox, as soon as I press OK after either selecting the transponder or manually entering it the box goes into a reboot.
Any suggestions what might be causing this..? As i've said, it's happened on 2 different receivers. Faulty motor or something maybe..?
