    Dreambox 800se

    Hello Everyone

    I have recently bought a 800hd SE clone Sim 2.10(I think)

    it came preloaded with nemesis and after a few hours it green screened so i decided to embark on trying to flash it

    After around 8 hours and multiple R01 No CA later i now am at the stage where the system boots and shows New enigma white loading screen and then the box turns off

    Had a look via hyper terminal and connected to the mini USB and it shows that the box gets to loading ssh then starts the shutdown process

    I tried nemesis as well and get the same issue.

    Not sure what the concept of SSL82 and SSL84 nfi are but it shows the loading screen with sim2SE_SSL84_0923

    I am confident with Linux so don't worry about having to explain to much on that side.

    Also how do you know if its a SSL82 box or SSL84

    Any tips would be apprenticed

      You need to find out what SIM is inside the box. It seems that there might be an issue, Open it up and make sure its a sim 2.01. It may be a sim 3.01 or 2.1.

          Manged to get an image of this forum from a guy that had a link

          Nemesis2.6-Sunray sr4-Full Combo-SVN107r5 ssl84b-sim2-by sat4fun.nfi

          This worked

          does anyone have any idea why this worked and others didn't
