    Recording/motor prob 800HD

    hI ALL,
    Just manged to get my DM800 up and running with a lot off help from you guys on this forum.
    (Thanks for all your help).
    But when i record a program via timer to internal h/disk should the motor move itself to the correct location E.g If left on hotbird and recoreding s timed for a channel on astra will the machine move the motor automatically like most recivers do.As off yet i have found no solution in setting etc.
    Using nab black hole image.

    instead of setting it to record set it to zap at that time and see if it moves the motor then

      Thank you for your response, I will test the Zap tonight, Does the box have to be on Full Power on or will standy by work ?

          I have the same problem. If it is set to Standby then recording using the timer does not move the motor.....

          Any Ideas?

              Ok. I found the solution guys...

              Just upgraded the firmare to Dream Elite BH 1.3.3 OE1.6 DM800 Multiboot

              It works Rock Solid now !!!

              Even from Standby.....
