help needed part bricked

Been given a 800hd that won't boot I have tried power on with power button pressed used browser it shows the boxes page go to flash, load image press flash after 15 seconds text pops partition wrong. Tried hacked dream up connected to null cable clicked connect, power up box box id's 800dm but still says to power up box and if I go to flash it gets stuck on waiting for ok.
Any suggestions on how to sort this problem out?

There is an option to clear bad sectors when using dremup. Don't know if that will help but worth a crack.
