cccam.cfg not in softcam manager

first time at this, pretty sure ive completed all the steps and finally have been saving my line in a text editor file as CCcam.CFG into/etc/ but it is not appearing in softcam manager.

using vix 2.4.96

any ideas?

imo var/etc but i not use vix

why would you see it in their, in softcam manager u normaly see things like, cccam 2.14 or oscam or mgcamd etc, softcam manger is for selecting a cam and turning off and on, if you want to see ur config line you will need to go into something like server or your ecm info

I see CCcam 2.2 ATM but Iv been told it should read CCcam 2.2.1 and I should e able to start it but u ant, il try it in car/etc md.

Did you install the cam package from the addon menu or ftp into /tmp then manually install it from the addon menu?

i ftp into /tmp and then manually installed from the add on menu.

then i ftp the line into /etc via notepad++
also tried ultra edit but none are working am i using a wrong program?

also will i need to delete the failed ftp entries?

You need to put your sea lion into the cccam.cfg file and put it in var/etc
