dm 800 hd fault ( no ip )

hello this has me very confused
i have recently been given a dm800hd clone
but cannot get it to aquire an ip address
it doesn't have the no ca found and does boot up
but nothing work's when it does it just stuck on one channel
remote won't work to access the menu or change channel ( tried two diff remote's both work on other boxes )
have tried using the dreamup with null modem it doesn't recognise box
tried dreamup patched with 800 repair /enforcer again doesn't recognise box
have took it apart to see if anything is loose and everything
looks ok
any help would be greatly appreciated

What i would suggest turn off dm put power in and keep hold of power button on front of dm, this should show ip, then with laptop connected to internet open up web browser and type that ip in, you should connect to the box then flash new image from there.....

i have had a dreambox 800hd myself for over a year so i do know how to get an ip and flash it via browser
the problem is that this dreambox 800hd will not give me an ip no matter what i do it just shows dhcp on the oled screen ?
