Tuning Dm800 HD PVR to Turkish channels

Hi all!

I have bought a brand new clone DM 800 HD PVR and ran into a problem. I tried to change the look of it and it kept on crashing so I reflashed with Nemesis.

What I am trying to do is tune the Turkish channels while I am here in Turkey (visiting my parents), I have took the old box off (which works fine and has channels stored),but everytime I go and scan for services I get nothing.

If I go to satfinder I have a few options, manual transponder and predefined transponder. Predefined gives me nothing so I was wondering will manual help in any way? I've tried various different things andmanage to get AGC to around 70% but I have 0 SNR and 0 BER.

I've been faffing with this for 2 days now and read up on as much as I can but I am still getting no-where.

Any help from the experts is much appreciated.

Have you set your tuner config up to simple mode,single sat and chose the turkish sat from the list
then go to manual scan and change type of scan to single sat and choose the same sat you set up in the tuner config then do a scan.

I've definitely done the simple sat method and tried it that way and searched the single sat (Turksat 42' East). Still no joy

If I go to satfinder and scroll through the numbers the AGC drops and rises but I still get no SNR.

Is it worth making sure that the dish is pointing in the right direction? I'm not sure if this will help though because when I plug the other box I get channels!
