DM800 Clone wont scan all channels

    Hello folks.

I have had my dm800 for a spell and never had any problems. When I scan I find 900+ channels.

I am working on a friends at the min and I can only receive 514 channels. I have tried all the different variations for sat configuration. The dm800 is a sat version. I have no idea... help please

firstly try a manual sat scan with network search activated to add any new transponders to see if that helps. if its still the same your dish could be slightly out of alignment, lnb partial fault or a partial blockage in the line-of-sight. regards mdt

Oh aye, ive been through every option there. However, is sky uk not 28.2 astra/ eurobird or something similar? I have never scanned that eutal sat before :s its an annoying issue as my dm800 is fine. I really cant think what the problem may be

yes m8 its just changed its name from eurobird1 to eutelsat 28a, just try doing it with the network search switched on and see if it helps. if not you could try ftp,ing a pre-made list like sgtflipflops last one as its not that old or you could install @rats updater.ipk via ftp and download a new list off the net, regards mdt

I tried that but the missing channels still don't work it cant be the tuner as surely if it finds some programs, its working? I have tried several images too. Also, when I service search I cannot select the new satellite, just the old one which may be the problem. How do I go about finding the new named one?

Just to update. My settings seem to match on box dreamboxes, with mine finding all channels. It appears that my friends wont lock onto a satellite. Update: it does appear to be the tuner after all as i switched them
