Want to play recordings on Android device.

Lo there.

Been using Dreamdroid and BSPlayer on my Android tablet to successfully stream live TV without an issue for a while now (inside the house that is).
BSPlayer opens the .m3u playlist file that's generated from dreamdroid and streams which ever channel I choose. Its great.

But can't seem to get a setup that will stream the recordings I have made on my Vu+Duo. They just throw an error and curl up their toes.

Is there a recommended player app and config to get this to work??

try using the vlc player app for your android device to stream from your dreabox to phone/tablet
