crossepg problem

I can't get anything more than now & next with crossepg on Dreambox 800 HDse with Dreamelite 3 and opentv. I have tried various settings but getting nowhere. Everything seems to go through the process but will not show more than now and next. A question i have is when i initialise the USB stick it will only let me format it as ext3, is this ok ? If i format as fat32 on my pc, the dreambox wants to put it back to ext3 when i initialise it. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Mentalist,

The usb stick needs to be ext3 as fat32 won't work in the box.
Silly question but have you been going into the "multi epg" (i think it is)?
When you get a list of channels in the bouquet i press button "3" and it gives me another bouquet choice and when i select one of them the full epg shows.
I have answered another post entitled "epg" and nothing would show on my epg recently as that was to do with a NAS setting i had.
Try reading that epg thread and see if there's anything in there that may help you.

Thanks. Yes it was Multi epg and getting nowhere. I tried pressing 3 (and others) but that just takes me to top of the page. I am working through your help on the other thread and will reply to that.

Got it sorted. Eventually i gave up on Dreamelite3 (don't know why, just got the feeling something not right with full epg capability. Otherwise a great image).
I flashed in OpenPLi, went through all the exact same epg set up procedures and got full epg first time.

The reason it worked on Pli and not elite is because you have to install epgloader plugin seperately on some images which is the case with dreamelite.

Like Pli Domica 9 works out of the box but is far superior an image in all respects and even though it has not been updated in almost a year it's still the best image available today. Looks great and everything the average person wants or needs is there and just works.

After a year wasted with Openbox, VU+ UNO & AZBox it is so nice to be back with the box that works as intended and for which enigma2 was designed. Even though my SE is a clone it is much better than the overpriced & overhyped cheaply made korean wannbes.
