dm800 se wont load

hi i have a dm800 se clone i want to upgrade my image blackhole 1.6.6 to a newer one but every image i try thats newer wont load. it starst off with the picture at the start then goes off and stays at that. if i put my image back on it works fine any help much appriciated. kevin

Make sure you are using a clone safe image with the correct bootloader and correct sim to suit your box.

i have changed the bootloader to a earlier one it boots up now but the tuners are empty and i carnt do any thing with them. fix one problem to get another

If it is SIM2 you can use any SIM2 image of any BL you like.

Tuners: sometimes you have to reboot the box a couple of times before it get's the tuner right and also mounts the HDD the way you want it.

If you have a sim210 bl84 box then there are many fine images here and out there for it. Google. I'd avoid DreamElite because it takes hours to boot up. Any Ramimaher image should work on a sim2 box be it 2.01 or 210.

If you have a Ferari sim there are many images here and there is also a dedicated site for it and its images. Again, google.

Obvious advise but for anyone else new to this, do NOT try a Ferrari image on a sim2 box and vica versa nor a kosher image on either one.

I have Newnigma in flash and 7 images I can run from HDD when I fancy a change. I run from hdd coz trying to get a pen drive to work is a pain in the ass. This is true even on an orignal box or korean wannbes.

HeyHo at least the Close SE is not a cheap quality korean DM wannabe being hyped and sold at an extortionate price.

if i scroll right it just moves to tuner 2 tried pressing ok and every other button does nothing. i no its not the tuner because when i go back to black hole 1.6.6 it works fine.

yes its sim2 clone box sim2.10 ssl84b i am using the correct sim/image and clone safe images. i realy like black hole images and would like to upgrade to 1.7.2. i have tried loads of different images now the ones that are newer then 1.6.6 will not load unless i change the ssl84b to ssl84a then it will load but the tuner will not work. does the tuner have a driver.

it would seem the problem is with bootloader ssl84b the image wont load with it but it wont work without it. it must be knackered but i have tried to load nfi. ssl84b before i flashed the image still wont work. does any body no a fix for this.
