Cnigma- OpenPli2.1 Help

Hi All,

Having a weird problrm with my current image (Cnigma-openpli2.1dm800hdssl84b)


Image will run absolutely fine for about 1-2 hours, then image will freeze box to the point the image reboots box.

Has anybody exprerinced this problem is there a Fix

is your box a clone ? alot of the older dm800hd clones are notorious for overheating hence the release of the dm800hdse.
also you could try reflashing the image from a different source.

I had a similar problem a while back, it would work for a while (not sure how long it was) then it would just freeze, I would then have to unplug the box and plug it back in so it would work for a bit then same problem again.

Eventually it got so bad (after a few minutes) it would freeze, I thought it was a problem with the box, but then tried a different image (dreambox uk 2.1 image) with the openPLI skin and its been working great for months now.

So the moral of the story is try a different image.

I believe when I updated the image online there was problem. Have you updated?

some pli images had problems with wifi some time back, i think it was with bootloader 84a, i had the same issue, changed image and all was fine afterwards
