Hi, pretty much a complete newb here, I have my own dreambox but the one in question is my Dad's. Basically the guy he bought it from had pre loaded everything and put it on a server. There were some problems with the image and the guy tried and failed to sort it out then started ignoring emails. When the sub was up for renewal he was straight on the line for payment but my Dad was having none of it.
I found a different server and the guy sent me a 24 hour test line. I tried to insert it with CCcam Lines Manager. The old line was clearly visible and i deleted it and put the new one but it wouldn't let me save it. This reminded me of a few weeks earlier when i tried to setup pc->tv streaming but couldn't save the new server on the box - it just kept reverting back.
Somebody on another forum ran me through replacing the cccam config file with the one with the new c lines on via explorer but it wouldn't save - kept saying the memory is full. I tried to delete the old one then insert the new one but whenever i viewed the file it had reverted back to the old line. I deleted some non-essential plugins - picture viewer etc and tried again but still not enough memory. There's nothing been saved on the box like tv programs or anything.
All i want to do is get him on another server for now - can worry about the image later. It's not denying me access via the user/pass route it just won't let me save anything new. Any ideas on where to go from here?
