Dm800 No Ca found - now cant flash it

I flashed today wrong image and immediately a No ca found appears.

I have come across this many times and just flash an old image using dreamup.

However this box is flashing ok, takes 1hour via dreamup. but right at the end its giving errors.

Flashing failed (!!! 002 CRC failed), box will be unusable now!!

purgecomm function failed (win error code: 5)

I have tried various dreamup versions. i have tried flashing nabilo pure flash. i have tried flashing the very earlier versions of BL69 but after waiting 1hr im still getting these errors.

Any ideas. Its now doing my head in since morning

you need to flash the correct bootloader for your image first then flash the image. also flash through the ethernet cable and not dreamup as thats why its taking hours to flash

Please may you clarify a bit.

I have always used dreamup and null moderm cable to fix this No Ca found problem and it always take 1hr plus.

How do i use the ethernet cable? Remember flashing by the browser method doesnt work when the box is incapacitated like this

i no i use a working dm800 first, i connect it to dreamup then click connect then wen it loads i swap it to the CA err one, make sure u have a enet cable in the ca err box then click on flash and load a bootloader or any flash image that works wen u do that u shud see a ip in the box display put that in to ur web browser and flash it with a boot loader, it all shud take less than a min, use the second stage dreamup
