I have an original DM800HD (non-clone) set up by a friend with Blackhole 1.33 I think. Tried to install crossepg on it because I was missing some EPG channel info from certain channels, mainly SkySports. Box won't load past Bootloader loading screen so I load the IP address of the box in a browser and attempt to flash a new image, now I get a CA error and no access via the network.
Purchased a null modem cable (USB->serial) but have no idea what image to flash or how to do it, majority of guides seem to be for cloned boxes/images. Want to flash one for a genuine box and something updated and with a good EPG and CCam functionality. It's a bit of a minefield online finding an image, sim types, bootloaders, patched images. I'm pretty lost.
Info I managed to get from the broswer-flashing screen before I lost that option for good was folllowing: Bootloader version: Dreambox Second Stage Loader BUILD #76 built 20100419. Do I need to update the bootloader?
