DreamElite Issue or maybe not?

former PLi user, fancied a change to Dream Elite, gotta say upto now am very happy, got the Glass HD Skin think it looks the biz, anyway couple of quesitons really wondering if i could get a reply or two rather than just 100 views.

Ok so image on, external hdd 1tb installed and working correctly, TS panel installed. All of a sudden i dont know why when i press the blue button my box crashes (green screen) then reboots. Ive read the log and im sure i seen 'DEMPanel' error or something to that effect. Not sure why its doing this as everything else on the image seems to be working fine.

Another problem i have is on PLi i had no Issues with Crossepg i followed tutorials and read up and had my usb working with it happy days. Ive tried thro the TSPanel installing Crossepg and other plugins associated but cant seem to get it working. Is there something different that hi have to do with crossepg on the DElite image?

Also should i use my existing extrernal hdd for the corss epg data storage or should i piut my usb stick in and use that?

My last question is does anyone know the name of the clock/time plugin as entering the time and zone and saving doesnt appear to be working. As its displaying the wrong time?

Basically im concerned about this blue button crash - ive tried to remember the latest plugins i installed and removed them but doesnt seem to have worked. Ive really spent a lot of time over the weekend learning how to flash a new image settingup an external hdd so im not being lazy here guys please help if you can

I had Dreamelite 3 on my 800se clone and gave up trying to get 7 day crossepg working. I tried alot of 'fixes' from various posters but it just wouldn't work. I switched to PLi and it worked perfect 1st time.

surely there must be a way ive spent a long time with this new image??? come on people crossepg on dreamelite who knows how????

ive refrained from asking questions in the chatbox and pm'ing busy members, ive tried to explain the problem, ive continued reading and trying to find a fix but to no avail. Im enjoying my surnay and it is becoming a good hobby but its so frustrating when you read read read, and then post a thread and get minimal help and lots of viewers.

So i gotta get OpenPlI back i guess

I can confirm crossepg does work with the following
Dream-elite-3-0-dm800-ver-010r4-ramiMAHER
Im using a dm800hd original box with bootloader 84

You might have to reinstall the image as you might of corrupted it playing around with the setting to crossepg

For crossepg make sure you have your tv bouqeots loaded in and that your watching a channel 1st- then as follows dont tick anything apart from whats mentioned as follows
crossepg -menu-system-device manager-storage devices sata hard disk best set as /media/hdd (usb if fitted must stay no mount defined)-reboot- menu-setup-crossepg-configure -hard disk-enable csv import yes-force epg reload on boot no-download on tune yes-scheduled download disabled-show as plugin yes-show as extension yes-show as force reload as plugin no-back

Then opentv-providers- tick the sky uk open tv(astra2on28.2) -click on download-shows radio mode for approx 3 /4 mins on 28e -then best to reboot -There you go should be all working but you can use plugins crossepeg downloader after that for the updates .Cheers
