new member queery on DM800hd

Hi all, came across this forum while looking for a new image for my DM800HD box.
Unit keeps freezing up and I have to power it down to re start it. Sometimes happens 10 times on the trot...The unit worked well for the first 2 months, but now its unusable at times.
Currently I am running PLi 2.1. Will the latest black hole image work better for me?

You could try another image but a reflash with the same image might be better but get a fresh download it might be corrupt.
Are the free channels working fine? Reflash is first port of call followed by new power supply they often power the box but sometimes not enough causing lots of other problems.
