ftp to xtrend 900

Hi, im trying ftp icefilms to my xtrend but getting error connecting to the............. boxStatus: Connecting to 192.168........
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 500 OOPS: cannot locate user entry:vsftpd
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server

think this was caused by using a settings back up on the 3.0 image, just needed to do a full reflash without the back up.
