Dream box doesn't load

    Dream box doesn't load

    Hey everyone.. I recently acquired a dream box 800hd.. Plugged it in.. Black Hole was preloaded to it.. Went to update the firmware packages... After it downloaded.. It prompted me to reboot.. Now it won't load up and the lcd just reads "dream multimedia"
    So I take it I have bricked my box and need to re flash it?
    Any advice I would appreciate it

      Just use the guides and reflash it. Just make sure you use the correct image for your sim type.

                  why are you saying the box doesnt have a sim, have you opened it up to check

                      Opened the box and found the sim... Anyone know which sim it is...

                          yes its a sim a8p, you can use any original image for this


                          sorry i think my eyes were tired when i posted this, it says sim a2p thing that an original. same applies use oroginal image

                                  try an image from dream media web site, all original images should be fine

                                      INVALID IMAGE (OR OLD VERSION)
                                      crc skipped

                                      im so confused! tried over 7 different images.. some of them said
                                      *ERR:NO SIM2xx FOUND on the lcd

                                      any ideas on what im doing wrong.. any advice i would appericate it!

                                          is it from this date (Release 3.2.4 from 04.11.2012), also how are you trying to install

                                              Hi, mate
                                              The sim card in your picture lis almost certainly an early sim T1 which became the ferrari team.The original dm sim has black printing,which is why i think it is a T1.
                                              Try a Ferrari image upto ssl 69
                                              It is possible you could update the sim to Ferrari.using their free tool.
