I have a dm800 dreambox with nemesis installed. i tried using dcc for the first time (connection type : router) user: root password: dreambox. the network is ok but i have the following problem

Telnet Connected
FTP Connected
Bootmanager: not found.
Telnet Disconnected
Telnet login incorrect!

i tried numerous ftp clients but no joy

i need the user/pass as my sub. just expired

best best is reflash with dreamup, then fully update box, then it will default to root/dreambox

i require to update the cccam.cfg...

i am not keen to flash d dreambox

is there an easier way to update the cccam.cfg file? maybe from webcontrol? or some sort of remote control ediiting??

There is a really easy way to edit your cfg file.

Google Dreambox Cccam editor

This will give you several forums where you can Download the program which is simple to use.

if you bought the box with a sub pre-programmed then the seller may have changed the default user/password

as above a reflash will restore these to default but the tuner and epg etc will need re-configuring
