HELP! Dreambox DM800 HD PVR Dead???

Hello guys,

My Dreambox DM800 HD PVR seems to have died.

I accidentally unplugged the Dreambox while it was attempting to start a VLC server (which was wrong anyway) and now I have plugged the power back in there is nothing happening. The OSD on the front is blank there is no power light on, nothing on TV and cannot get to the web interface. However, the lights on the ethernet connection are on, so the box is getting power.

Is there anything I can do about this?

Any comments/suggestions welcomed.

i am not lucky enough to own a 800 but on other dreamboxs you can normaly bring them back to life using dreamup with a null cable

hi mate try pulling the power, then holding the little silver standby button in and then reapply the power till the display lights up then let go of the button leave for 10 seconds then press again and it should say booting.
