    Anbody know more about Picon reference

    I have been tryin for a while now to get picons working on my DM800se. The satellite config that I am have is Astra/Eurobird 28.2, Hotbird 13.0. I have added picons for this satellite to a picon folder on a usb stick with the Nemesis image.

    I have also added picons for a DTT tuner config and they work ok so I know the problem is not with the Nemesis picon setup or the usb picon folder.

    The only thing that I can think of as being the problem is with the picon reference. What is it referencing or what is referencing it?

    Is it the epg that references the picons?

    I ask this because I use OpenTV on Cross epg and I have my epg download set to Sky UK OpenTV (Astra2 on 28.4). I use this setting because my box has always froze when I try to select Sky UK OpenTV (Astra2 on 28.2).

    Could this be causing the issue?

      on my 800se it worked faultless on nemesis, only had 28e slyuk setup and it was in a folder on the root of usb stick named "picons"

      are you struggling to get them to display on the little lcd or on-screen

          Thanx for the reply. I know have them working in the infobar. Seemingly each picon has a reference name that should match and correspond to the service reference in user bouquets.

          DreamboxEdit can be used to correct this which could take a long time to match and rename all picons.
          I wonder is there an easier way?

          However I still can not get them to appear on the LCD or OLED screen. My settings in BLUE > YELLOW > Setup Display LCD/OLED are...

          Show Picon on LCD?(Need enigma restart)............yes
          Set LCD Picon type..................................Reference

              Both sets of picons working on Nemesis 2.5 SVN(104r4) by ramiMAHER.
              Create two folders on usb. picon for info bar and picon_oled for
              lcd. Enable in settings menu panel BLUE/YELLOW buttons and reboot.
